What is the most important skill you learned after you graduated college? Cooking? Doing your taxes? For me it was learning to have a more manageable schedule. I studied hard but also made a lot of time for going to my church events, campus events and seeing old and new friends in the ATL.
How did I get this balance?
I used a calendar(google and my tj maxx agenda saved my life)
I made sure to write down deadlines and also give my self time to breathe between important projects.
Take your days off. In the photo above, I went out to eat with my church and got my nails done.
Add time management to the list of skills you want to work on after college. It will help you prevent burnout. I was prone to that a lot in college and would grind and grind till I was a crisp. Do you have any other tips? Share your thoughts in the comments. Anyways, thanks for listening.
